This logo design was for a project in college, and not for an actual client. The project was to pick a local business in OKC and to “reimagine” it. Commonplace is a unique local bookstore with a colorful collection of books and green velvet couches everywhere for customers to lounge on. Commonplace Books already has good branding, but everything is very neat and clean, so I decided to take the logo and make it more illustrative and inviting to emphasize the homey nature of the bookstore itself.
